- Complete project budgets and detailed estimates, including detailed quantity take-off and pricing for self performed trades.?
- Perform scope assessments and prepare and issue Scope of Work to bidders.?
- Establish bidder list for each project and issue bid invitations.?
- Distribute bid documents to subs.? Post bid documents in online Plan Room using SharePoint.?
- Set up bid forms.?
- Prepare preliminary schedule for bid purposes.?
- Maintain record copy of bid documents.?
- Prepare scope of work for each trade to be used in subcontracts.?
- Prepare bid tabulation for each trade and recommendation for award.?
- Conduct turn over meetings with Project Manager and Superintendent.?
- Assist with Business Development proposals.?
- Organize and prepare written proposals to clients including Letters of Interest, Qualification Statements, and Requests for Proposals.?
- BS degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field (Preferred).
- 5 -10 years in the lead role, estimating commercia new construction and renovations.
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong technical and communication skills are critical
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Proficiency in construction estimation software and tools (Bluebeam, Plan Swift, RS Means).
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of Procore, Microsoft Office (preferred)
