    Description

    Leading health organization is in search of a Chief Human Resources Officer to oversee the Human Resources Department and staff.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead development and implementation of agency-wide personnel and supervisory policies
    • Direct Labor Relations in creating and enforcing disciplinary policies and overseeing EEO functions for the agency
    • Ensure proper exercise of authority over staff by the director
    • Develop and monitor office budget
    • Coordinate with various department offices and committees regarding human resource administration and operational issues
    • Supervise staff, evaluate performance, and provide strategic planning for process improvement
    • Collaborate with the executive team on policy direction and recommendations
    • Create training and development plans for employees
    • Oversee compensation programs and improve human resources data management
    • Recommend organizational structure and staffing levels to meet goals
    • Establish departmental goals, policies, and procedures
    • Maintain knowledge of human resources management and compliance issues

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources management or related field
    • 8+ years of human resources generalist experience, preferably in a social services or non-profit setting
    • 5 years of experience in staff supervision
    • Strong background in employee relations
