    Occupational Therapist (OT) Position Available in Danville, VA Area


    About the Role:

    • Employer: Soliant
    • Job Type: Fulltime, School-Based Contract
    • Location: Danville, VA Area

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' physical, emotional, cognitive, and functional capacities.
    • Execute therapeutic interventions and exercises to enhance students' everyday living abilities, motor skills, coordination, and sensory integration.
    • Offer guidance and assistance to students in modifying their surroundings to ensure safety, accessibility, and autonomy.
    • Educate students, families, and caregivers on techniques for enhancing independence and optimizing performance.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
    • Valid Occupational Therapist license.
    • Demonstrated experience in delivering occupational therapy services within school settings.
    • Proficiency in anatomy, physiology, psychology, and human development.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to foster connections with clients and collaborate efficiently with fellow professionals.
