Soliant Education is currently seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Danville, VA, for the school year. This is a full-time contract position offering an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students in a school setting.

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' occupational therapy needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' fine motor, sensory processing, and activities of daily living skills.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
Monitor and document students' progress towards goals, adjusting interventions as needed.
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of students' educational plans.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Valid Virginia state license to practice Occupational Therapy.
Prior experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Passion for helping students achieve their fullest potential.
