    This position is a fulltime Nonexempt position located on site in Newark, DE.

Position Summary:

This individual must be a self-motivated, detail oriented and energetic person with some chemistry background.

The individual must be a quick learner with a mechanical/problem-solving mind to properly produce columns that meet production quota and standards to qualify for the monthly production award program.

This full-time non-exempt position is based at our headquarter office located in Newark, Delaware.


Requirements:


  • High school graduate with 2+ years of industrial lab experience or associate degree in a science field.
  • Good understanding of general separation science.
  • Be able to strictly follow the Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Proficient computer skills to utilize Microsoft software and an ERP system for daytoday departmental operations.
  • Well organized and able to perform several tasks at the same time.
  • Good communication skills along with attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Physically fit to stand, bend and twist with ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities:


  • Perform the production of LC columns following Standard Operating Procedure.
  • Perform the production supporting activities such as buffer preparation, workspace cleaning, column washing, etc.
  • Keep proper and legible records of any LC column production activities using Production Notebook and relevant Logs.
  • Perform the Quality Control test of LC columns.
  • HPLC
and packing system maintenance.

  • Utilize and maintain the ERP system to optimize daily production functions.
  • Performance of general housekeeping maintenance in the laboratory and cleanliness in work areas.
  • Observe safety precautions as outlined in safety manuals and training.

Pay:
From $18.50 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
