    Description


    A rapidly expanding foundation contractor is actively seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join their internal engineering team based out of their Orlando, Florida location.

    They specialize in the restoration and reinforcement of foundations across various sectors, encompassing both residential and commercial structures.

    We are in search of engineers who possess the capabilities to aid in the growth and extension of our nationwide footprint.

    This engineer will be an integral part of our engineering team, providing support to other departments as necessary. The engineer will ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality professional services to clients and adherence to our stringent standards.

    Responsibilities:
    Reviewing, overseeing, and certifying permit submission packages, including day-to-day communication.

    Collaborating with fellow engineers and the drafting team to coordinate, prepare, and assess permit submission packages.

    Working alongside the permitting team to secure necessary permits, including the creation of certification letters for permit closures.

    Cooperating with Certified Field Inspectors (CFIs) to develop project scopes.

    Conducting forensic evaluations of structures for complex projects, both residential and commercial.

    Preparing comprehensive reports and repair designs as required.

    Working closely with construction crews to address issues stemming from unforeseen site conditions.

    Assisting crews in generating as-built documents for successful final inspections.

    Conducting site visits to resolve customer concerns.

    Engaging in outreach efforts with industry authorities and delivering presentations for continued professional development.

    Actively participating in ongoing education to maintain professional licensing

    Requirements for Joining Our Team as a

    Senior Engineer:
    B.S. in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Geotechnical Engineering (M.S. Preferred).

    5-10 years of relevant experience in commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects.

    PE certification is mandatory, with SE certification being desirable.

    Competence in design and detailing of wood, concrete, and steel structures is preferred.

    Proficiency in building codes and load calculations.

    Experience in the design of deep foundation systems is a plus.

    A self-motivated individual with a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.

    Outstanding communication, multitasking, and teamwork abilities.

    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

    Unwavering integrity, strong character, and a commitment to the highest ethical standards.

    Demonstrated track record of measurable achievements.

    Proficiency in computer applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and AutoCAD.
