What are we looking for in a candidate for this position at Conductor in Winter Park?

We are seeking a highly experienced software engineer with a strong focus on product development and a background in low-latency distributed systems.

This individual will be responsible for powering our real-time web monitoring SaaS platform, which checks hundreds of millions of URLs 24x7.

They will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our web monitoring platform.

We are looking for someone with a delivery-oriented and problem-solving mindset, as well as a can-do attitude, to help shape the future of our data infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of technologies, including Typescript, RabbitMQ, Chromedriver, and Redis, to name a few.

They will report to the Engineering Manager of our Web Monitoring pillar and collaborate with application developers, infrastructure experts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, design and implement solutions, and execute on our enterprise strategy.

Key responsibilities for this role include collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing and maintaining advanced crawling systems, designing and implementing technical solutions, staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and advocating for best practices and mentoring other engineers.
