- Conduct primary consumer research and leverage a variety of secondary information sources to maintain a deep understanding of category dynamics including trends, insights, shopper behaviors and retailer strategies and competitive activity.
- Analyze product performance, consumer feedback, research and market trends to make informed decisions about product positioning, messaging, pricing, packaging, recipe renovations, SKU prioritization/optimization and new item introductions.
- Prepare budgets and manage expenses to achieve company financial objectives, analyzing the marketing mix and allocate optimal resource investment, driving business results, P&L optimization and sets activity KPIs.
- Evaluate opportunities to expand into new channels (i.e. convenience/Ecomm) to further accelerate sales growth.
- Conduct periodic business reviews, market assessments and ROI/performance analysis to recommend actions to improve business performance.
- Oversee cross-functional commercialization projects (R&D, Operations, Quality, Sales and Finance) to ensure brands strategic and financial objectives are met
- Work with cross functional teams (R&D, culinary, quality, legal, operations, sales, and finance) to commercialize the innovation pipeline for all brands and develop a 3 year . robust 3-year product pipeline.
- Develop and validate concepts that deliver on key consumer needs and align with the brand strategy. As necessary bring in external research partners.
- Ensure alignment of marketing strategy and execution across 4Ps: product, price, placement and promotion.
- Support Sr Director of Customer Marketing with the development and evaluation of shopper marketing plans.
- Partner with Customer Marketing Team to improve our overall retail relationships and exercise our role as category leader to achieve our business goals.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university is required (MBA preferred)
- 5-7 years of related experience in marketing.
- The candidate should have no less than 3 years of experience in a brand management role in the CPG industry.

- Knowledge of Contact Management systems; Design software; Internet software; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, this position is responsible for the strategic growth plans that deliver on revenue and profitability goals. The person in this position will guide the team in the development of products, portfolio management and marketing program development that acquire new segments and consumers, ensure strong relationships with our key retailers and achieve business revenue and growth goals.
