We're seeking a Payroll Administrator I to join our team The individual in this key position will provide assistance to the Payroll staff as well as develop a positive relationship with payroll vendors and government agencies


Responsibilities include:

  • Assist other Payroll Department staff as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure and maintain positive relationships with all employees, payroll vendors and appropriate governmental agencies.
  • Process various payroll workflows.
  • Training staff throughout the Agency to utilize our time gathering and approval system, various uses of payroll software and scheduling, conduct weekly orientations and Manager training series.
  • Create and distribute payroll reports as requested.
  • Process and audit all multistate action forms and various data changes.
  • Complete timely and accurate wage verifications.
  • Resolve difficult issues and offer solutions with mínimal direction.
  • Assist in the gathering and preparation of all required information for all various Agency audits
  • Prioritize responsibilities and work independently with mínimal supervision. Demonstrate understanding the importance of employee confidentiality and working knowledge of the Agency's business practices.

Qualifications:


  • Associate Degree in Business or
  • Three (3) years' experience processing payroll with an emphasis on payroll accounting
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations as they relate to payroll
  • Familiarity with Dayforce and Workday is beneficial
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently while meeting strict deadlines
  • Computer skills, Microsoft Office preferred
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Compensation:
$21 hourly.


Hours:
This is a full-time, hourly position.
