    Job Summary

    Consults with executives, senior leaders, and other HR leaders to enhance the effectiveness of E Ola leadership.

    In collaboration with the Talent Management Director, designs, develops, implements, and operationalizes talent management strategies and a portfolio of programs that develop and reinforce a high-performing, engaged, E Ola work culture.

    Influences organizational change and devises implementation and communication strategies to drive employee engagement and supports an E Ola performance culture.

    Promotes an integrated, holistic, client-focused HR service delivery and change management practice through engaged cross-functional approaches that drive effective business processes and programs, project management, and continuous process improvement methodologies, approaches, frameworks, and tools that are dynamic, effective, and compliant.

    Directs, supervises, coaches, and develops Talent Management team members.

    Essential Responsibilities

    Enterprise E Ola Talent Management Strategy

    Collaborates with senior leaders and cross-functional HR partners and across the organization to ensure the delivery of holistic and integrated client-focused talent management strategies and programs to meet current and future talent needs to support an E Ola performance culture.

    Provides strategic leadership, vision, guidance, and decision-making on the development of programs that increase E Ola manager and leadership capability, that contribute to effective management of people and performance that aligns with department/division goals and objectives, and the organization's E Ola identity.

    Designs and leads the development and implementation of enterprise strategic talent management, performance management, and leadership development programs that support a high-performance E Ola work culture.

    Utilizes business and functional expertise, information, and data analytics to anticipate future talent management needs.

    Regularly researches and identifies new strategies and industry best practices for E Ola talent management programs, coaching, mentoring, training, and development.

    Partner with stakeholders to identify learning and development needs to design programs that address skill gaps and support career progression.

    Planning and Program Execution
    Partners with HR leaders in the development of annual HR goals and objectives that align with organizational strategies.

    With Talent Management Director, develops and establishes function-specific annual plans, priorities, and resource goals and objectives, which are supportive of cross-functional HR goals and objectives.

    Leads the development and improvement of operational processes and strategic programs for talent and performance management that are consistent, effective, compliant, and in alignment with E Ola performance culture.

    Executes plans to implement new talent and organizational development practices that support business objectives such as E Ola performance culture, leadership development, employee engagement, and strategic change communication.

    Collaborates with HR Technology to consistently assess and review human capital management (HCM) system enhancements to streamline processes and improve employees' and managers' experiences.

    Supports compliance programs and audit activities.

    Leadership and Delivery
    Builds a strong, high performing and diverse team.

    Sets clear, high-performance goals, and assesses and evaluates resources to consistently achieve objectives according to KS organizational strategy and priorities along with internal and external benchmarks.

    Directs, supervises, coaches, and develops team members responsible for designing and delivering high quality training and development programs built for the unique needs of leaders, managers, and employees and creates a thriving work environment that encourages and enables team members to work, learn, and develop solutions together.

    Provides operational leadership and guidance to the team to ensure consistency and alignment of talent activities and delivery of service that ensure positive experiences with internal (HR) and external clients.

    Plans and determines the most efficient and effective allocation of team resources to ensure client needs are met and at the highest level of client satisfaction.

    Empowers team members to provide tailored and high-value service while upholding process integrity.

    Other Job Responsibilities
    Develops and maintains strategic relationships and strong partnerships with external stakeholders to ensure talent management strategies are fulfilled.

    Supports the management of relationships and service agreements with system and supplier vendors to ensure proper support, compliance, and efficacy of operational programs.

    Position Requirements

    Minimum Qualifications -

    An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the requirements listed.
    Master's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Humanities, Hawaiian Studies, Education Leadership, or related fields.

    Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible and related experience with emphasis in talent and performance management and leading change management and process improvement efforts.

    Minimum of 3 years at a management level supervising employees.
    Strong knowledge and understanding of Hawaiian culture, values, and principles, and population.
    Demonstrates an ability to consult with clients and other HR partners on E Ola talent management strategies.
    Proven track record of designing and implementing talent management programs and initiatives that drive employee engagement, performance, and retention.
    Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders and gain their confidence, trust, and respect.
    Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and processes.
    Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze trends and formulate recommendations to improve processes and systems.
    Ability to identify and resolve systematic issues that impact talent management and/or overall HR services.
    Thrives in working in a fast-paced, innovative, and collaborative environment.
    Able to think critically and demonstrates excellent decision-making skills, recognizing broader business implications of decisions.
    Must be able to uphold the highest level of confidentiality and ethics.

    Strong oral and written communications skills to prepare comprehensive and clearly written documents, presentations, and business plans, coach and facilitate.

    Strong computer skills and systems knowledge to include but not be limited to prior experience with performance management software, MS office suite of products, and Google products.

    Able to travel to various locations, including neighbor islands to conduct business.
    Ability to work evening and weekend hours as needed to meet goals and objectives.

    Preferred Qualifications
    Certification in Organizational Effectiveness, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, or Change Management.
    PHR, SPHR or GPHR certification.
    Previous experience working in an indigenous, education, or nonprofit setting.
    Demonstrated organizational development, change management and/or HR proficiency and experience in Hawaii's business and labor market.

    Physical Requirements
    Frequently sits, perform desk-based computer tasks and grasp light or fine manipulation, talk or hear.

    Occasionally stand and/or walk, write by hand, and lift and/or carry, push and/or pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.

    Rarely twist, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, climb, reach or work above shoulder, or grasp forcefully.

    Working Conditions
    This position may involve traveling to various locations, including neighbor islands to conduct business.
    Work is conducted in an office environment and may require work to be conducted in non-standard workplaces.
    Work is typically conducted Monday through Friday at normal business hours.
    Ability to work evenings and weekends.
