    Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Pacific (NAVFAC Pacific) is looking for journey level Construction Engineers

    A NAVFAC Construction Engineer provides construction management oversight for all construction work accomplished by NAVFAC Pacific and the NAVFAC Pacific Area of Operations.A construction engineer provides construction engineering technical quality assurance support and general oversight of facilities construction/demolition/environmental remediation via construction, demolition, environmental, and various supply and purchase contracts to ensure a quality product, economically within allowable time limites.

    As a Construction Engineer you will:

    • Provide construction engineering and construction management support during various stages of a construction contract.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of project quality programs which include both NAVFAC field office quality assurance, and the construction contractor's quality control program, and the effectiveness of a construction program to deliver projects on-time, within budget and in accordance with contract documents.
    • Analyze actual construction workload data to provide recommendations for resource management, training programs, and changes necessary for construction business procedures.
    • Conduct and/or facilitate forums, meetings, and conferences for in-house construction workforce personnel, and maintain partnerships with construction industry associates.

    Salary: $107,809 - $140,155

    A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.9% will be added to the stated salary

    Position Requirements:

    • SECRET Clearance
    • Registered Professional Engineer or Architect
