What to expect

  • Your area of responsibility includes a wide range of civil engineering tasks such as structural engineering, building construction, industrial construction, and plant construction
  • Your main task is to represent HKM to authorities (e.g. building department) and to prepare planning documents for the numerous construction projects of HKM.
  • You advise all departments within HKM and act as the design author for authorities.
  • In this role, you accompany HKM companies and executing planners in the preparation of construction documents and coordinate with other internal and external parties such as environmental protection, fire department, and involved departments.
  • You review construction documents for completeness, clarify questions with those involved in the planning process and authorities, and ensure documentation of legally relevant processes.

What you need

  • Successfully completed degree in architecture / civil engineering with the necessary qualification as "design author" according to §54 Building Code NRW
  • Ideally, you have several years of professional experience in construction and building planning law as well as related fields (e.g. fire protection)
  • Confident and professional demeanor, as well as strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Independent and goal-oriented work style, assertiveness, responsibility, and customer orientation
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs, SAP-PM, and relevant design software
