    Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Pacific (NAVFAC Pacific) is looking for Environmental Engineers

    A NAVFAC Environmental Engineer provides technical consultation on programs, promulgates instructions and guidance, conducts field inspections and audits, and coordinates with regulatory agencies to ensure Navy compliance with Department of Defense, Navy, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), state and local environmental regulations and standards.

    As an Environmental Engineer you will:

    • Develop instructions and guidelines in coordination with NAVFAC program priorities for applicable Navy Environmental Programs
    • Conduct internal and external environmental management system (EMS) and compliance audits of Navy installations.
    • Manage, execute, and provide environmental engineering support for Environmental Compliance programs such as, Clean Water Act, Oily Waste/Spill Management, Army Corps of Engineer Permitting, Resources Conservation and Recovery Act, and Safe Drinking Water Act
    • Serve on Architect/Engineer contract selection boards for establishment of new contracts and serve as the Contracting Officer's Representative on task orders.

    Salary: $93,143 - $120,337

    A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.9% will be added to the stated salary

    Position Requirements:

    • SECRET Clearance
    • Professional Engineer (PE) License
