- Main HR contact for functional leaders up through Warehouse Director-level and team members (associates on the floor).
- Responsible for the successful implementation of HR initiatives in Talent Management, Performance Management, Leadership Development, Employee Engagement, Safety and Health, Labor Relations, Compensation and Benefits.
- Partner closely with department leaders to understand priorities and needs for each department and provides consistent and speedy updates on open roles, showing a high sense of urgency
- Improve manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and employees
- Advise managers on organizational policy matters.
- Support the performance management process and provide guidance to leaders on their employee reviews and evaluations.
- Provide guidance to team members regarding employment issues in such areas as policy and procedure interpretation/application, coaching and corrective action, leaves of absence, development plans and terminations.
- Conduct exit interviews, collect, and analyze data; develop human resources solutions and recommend corrective action and continuous improvement.
- Responsible for performing recruiting-related duties for all warehouse team members
- Responsible to ensure the hiring process leads to positive outcomes for new team members such as higher job satisfaction, better job performance, and commitment
- Advertise job openings on companys careers page, social media, job boards and internally
- Participate in job fairs and host in-house recruitment events
- Conduct on-site warehouse management candidate interviews
- Oversee the on-boarding process including new hire Orientation
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
- Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
- Perform other related duties or special projects assigned by supervisor or manager

- At least 6 years of experience in a Human Resources Business Partner role preferably with experience in a high growth, warehouse, manufacturing or distribution center environment or field environment
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
