    HR Business Partner - Operations/Warehouse

    warehouse - Miami Lakes, FL - Full Time

    He or she is responsible for administrating the human resources policies, procedures, and programs that are applied in an organization.

    Some of the responsibilities include recruitment, departmental development, employee relations, training and development, and health benefits, retirement plans, employment and so many others.

    Support operating units by implementing human resources programs, solving performance problems.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Main HR contact for functional leaders up through Warehouse Director-level and team members (associates on the floor).
    • Responsible for the successful implementation of HR initiatives in Talent Management, Performance Management, Leadership Development, Employee Engagement, Safety and Health, Labor Relations, Compensation and Benefits.
    • Partner closely with department leaders to understand priorities and needs for each department and provides consistent and speedy updates on open roles, showing a high sense of urgency
    • Improve manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and employees
    • Advise managers on organizational policy matters.
    • Support the performance management process and provide guidance to leaders on their employee reviews and evaluations.
    • Provide guidance to team members regarding employment issues in such areas as policy and procedure interpretation/application, coaching and corrective action, leaves of absence, development plans and terminations.
    • Conduct exit interviews, collect, and analyze data; develop human resources solutions and recommend corrective action and continuous improvement.
    • Responsible for performing recruiting-related duties for all warehouse team members
    • Responsible to ensure the hiring process leads to positive outcomes for new team members such as higher job satisfaction, better job performance, and commitment
    • Advertise job openings on companys careers page, social media, job boards and internally
    • Participate in job fairs and host in-house recruitment events
    • Conduct on-site warehouse management candidate interviews
    • Oversee the on-boarding process including new hire Orientation
    • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
    • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
    • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
    • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
    • Perform other related duties or special projects assigned by supervisor or manager

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Leadership development experience and communication skills
    • Experience managing and overseeing strategic culture deployment and support projects throughout a global organization
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

    • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, Leadership or related field required;
    • At least 6 years of experience in a Human Resources Business Partner role preferably with experience in a high growth, warehouse, manufacturing or distribution center environment or field environment

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
