    As the Safety Specialist you will work in an office-based setting within the Quality department located in Mount Holly, NJ.

    Responsibilities:
    • Conducting facility, vehicle and documentation assessments
    • Assisting programs in preparing for licensing and accreditation site reviews
    • Monitoring plans of correction
    • Providing consultation to program leadership regarding life safety and documentation standards and best practices
    • Helping to promote safety and reduce risk exposure by coordinating with programs to ensure fire safety systems are in continuous working order and are up to date with internal and external inspections
    • Contributing to the development and implementation of policies, procedures and assessment tools
    • Identifying risk management trends
    • Completing special projects, as assigned

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in mental health/social service related field with at least two (2) years direct experience in behavioral health setting preferred;
    • Familiar with life safety standards and/or knowledge of licensing (DMHAS, DDD, DCF) and other regulatory (e.g. Medicaid, CARF) bodies a plus;
    • Valid Driver's License
    All positions require a valid driver's license in good standing, and pre-employment drug screening. All candidates, if hired, will be expected to cooperate with Oaks Integrated Care and The Department of Human Services in all inspections and investigations.
