- Proven ability to lead archaeological surveys, excavations, and develop and implement treatment and mitigation plans.
- Expertise in CEQA/NEPA, Section 106, AB 52, and SB 18 consultations.
- Coordinates project tasks (archaeology, architectural history, and/or paleontology) to meet cost and schedule objectives and is responsible for project performance to meet client and company objectives.
- Oversee project tasks and coordinate with clients, regulators, team members and other stakeholders.
- Excellent and proactive verbal communication skills are required.
- Demonstrates strong conceptual, organizational, problem-solving, and research capabilities.
- Demonstrate initiative, independent thinking, good problem-solving skills, excellent field skills.
- 5-10 years' local experience in Southern California.
- Master's in Archaeology/Historic Preservation or a related field is required.
- A Registered Professional Archeologist (RPA) a plus.
