The San Luis Coastal Unified School District is looking for an additional team member for our nursing team.

Licensed Nurses at SLCUSD provide a variety of nursing and specialized health care procedures, administer first aid and medications to students, and perform related duties as assigned.
The current vacancy is for a 35 hour/week position.SLCUSD offers medical/dental/vision/retirement (CalPERS) benefits, 13 paid holidays per year for employees on a 10-month work calendar, generous time off accrual rates for vacation and sick leave, and a desirable Monday through Friday daytime work schedule.
Additionally, new employees receive a step increase after passing probation, and then annual step increases each year thereafter, up to step 19 on the corresponding salary schedule.

Nurses are assigned by Student Services and may serve more than one site.Employees holding a position (or combination of positions) of 36 hours per week or more are required to enroll in a health benefits plan.

The District application covering relevant knowledge, skills, abilities and experience will be evaluated on a job-related basis to determine qualifications for the position.
