    With operations in multiple states and locations, we are the largest owner and operator of outpatient medical diagnostic imaging centers in the United States.

    The Senior Accountant will report to our corporate office in West Los Angeles, Monday - Friday.

    The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate and timely financial statements, auditing financial transactions and producing reports related to general ledger, bank reconciliations, account analysis and budgeting.

    The Senior Accountant is also responsible for adhering to accounting procedures and policies.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    Collect and analyze financial data and prepares monthly combined financial statements reports. Performs additional analysis for explanatory text required for reports and statement.
    Train and review the work of lower-level employees.
    Coordinate preparation of monthly financial package and reviews for accuracy.

    Maintain general ledger by gathering and posting entries, reviewing all entries made, reconciling accounts or coordinating the reconciliation of accounts to the general ledger.

    Coordinate monthly general ledger closing.
    Reconcile 95% general ledger balance sheet.
    Ensure maintenance and application of internal controls.
    Assist and review accounting for subsidiary operations performed by accounting staff.
    Participate in monthly financial meetings for discussion and review of monthly financial reports.
    Provide guidance to other Finance personnel for proper internal and external financial accounting procedures and their application.
    Assist in employee evaluation process, counsel employees and effectively recommend initial discipline and other personnel decisions.
    Provide input into goal setting for the department.
    Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
    Perform internal audits of accounts payable, payroll distribution, fixed assets and cash.

    Overall
    Assist supervisor as needed in meeting department standards and objectives.
    Keeping informed of RadNet policies and general environmental conditions to provide input and propose solutions to problems whenever possible.


    General Responsibilities:

    Practice good communication skills; comprehend and initiate written and verbal instructions when appropriate.

    Report to work regularly as scheduled; be consistently punctual with respect to working hours and lunch schedules; and, maintain satisfactory personal attendance in accordance with RadNet guidelines.

    Comply with all rules of conduct and safety, follow directions and accept and respect authority.

    Cooperate and consistently function harmoniously with all levels of supervision, fellow employees, clients, visitors, residents, vendors and other business contacts.

    Assist others when needed and function effectively as part of a team.
    Complete job responsibilities in a quality and timely manner.
    Adopt and be able and willing to learn new methods and systems.

    Requirements:


    Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, and at least 2 years of accounting experience in a corporation with multiple locations.

    Must have Excel skills, self-direction, and the ability to work with individuals at every level in the organization.
    Detailed oriented, knowledgeable, and able to work independently and within a team.
    Must have knowledge in GAAP and excellent communication skills.
