    **Description**

    **Balco, Inc**., a CSW Industrials affiliated business, Balco is a leading manufacturer of high-performance construction products in the categories of expansion joint systems, fire barriers, stair nosings, mats & grids, trench & access covers, acoustical joints & partition closures and photoluminescent egress systems. These products are specified by architects, engineers and contractors for commercial buildings.

    ***Position Title:*** Customer Service Coordinator

    ***Reports To:*** Customer Service Manager

    **Position Purpose:**

    Ensure fulfillment of orders through effective information exchange and daily interface (as appropriate and required) with field representatives, customers, distributors, commercial team, operations planners, world-wide site shipping and supply chain contacts.

    ***PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:***

    Coordination of Orders, Quotes, Samples, and Detail Requests

    + Order Entry into JD Edwards (JDE) Database

    + Order Completion/Preparation of orders for Scheduling

    + Entry or Approval of Physical Samples/Literature

    + Entry or Approval of Detail Requests to Drafting

    + Quoting for reps or customers

    Daily Communication and Coordination with Field Reps & Regional Managers to support their respective territories

    Communicate effectively with customer, contractors and architects to coordinate project needs

    Maintain accurate detail of job history in JDE as well as Sales Order folder

    Provide special pricing for reps as needed

    Communicate accurate information concerning order status and lead times to reps and customers

    Other duties as assigned

    ***ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:***

    Foster team-work by interacting with team members and other departments in a positive, solution-oriented manner.

    Offer solutions for problems with product or processes

    ***COMPANY WIDE RESPONSIBILITIES:***

    Support and follow Balco, Inc.s Business Policy

    Follow all applicable Procedures and Work Instructions

    Initiate preventative and corrective actions for problems with product or processes

    Demonstrate company values

    Follow all safety rules and regulations as directed by Balco

    Any other assignments, duties or responsibilities as directed by the Supervisor or Executive Management

    ***QUALIFICATIONS***

    High School diploma or GED

    3-5 years of Customer Service/ Account management experience in the manufacturing industry or related fields preferred

    Proficient in MS Office Suite

    Customer service experience

    Strong work ethic; self-starter, motivated to set and achieve goals

    Ability to manage projects on time

    Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

    Positive, professional demeanor
