We operationalize and improve design practices, systems, and tools that drive craft excellence and efficiency at scale.We are looking for an experienced Design Operations Lead to join our team You will report to the Head of Design Operations.
ResponsibilitiesAs Design Operations Manager, TeamOps you will:
Lead as a strategic partner:
You will understand the big picture and drive overall success, while tactically delivering incremental value for the team and the company.
You will partner with the Head of Design Transformation & Platform and design leadership on org-level design initiatives.You will partnerBring strategy to action:
Leading multiple workstreams, you will lead collaborative efforts to improve work management practices, instill effective team practices, and ensure alignment and execution on a global change strategy.
You will run complex often ambiguous programs.You will establish processes and governance, and collaborate with leadership and cross-functional partners to provide clear guardrails while empowering teams to move quickly.

QualificationsYour backgroundYou have 3+ years of experience managing a distributed team8+ years of relevant professional experience delivering programs that affect people and processes, ideally in design operations, consulting, or business operationsDeep expertise in design practices and methodologies, product development lifecycle, and measurement & evaluationStrong program management and stakeholder management skills, with experience defining and implementing initiatives at scaleExperience driving change management across a large, globally distributed organizationExpertise in measuring impact, identifying risks, and focusing projects on priorities that accomplish outcomesCompensationAt Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs.
To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline.
Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones.For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A:
$188,800 - $251,700Zone B: $169,900 - $226,500Zone C: $156,700 - $208,900This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
