    Description

    Millennium Corporation is hiring a Program Managerr to work onsite in Fort Belvoir, VA. The candidate must have an active secret clearance and will complete the following tasks:

    • Provide day to day direction for a group of subordinates and expert functional guidance to employees.
    • Interface with Government management to resolve problems
    • Establish priorities of work to subordinates based on Government goals and objectives
    • Interface between Government customer and Contractor.
    • Give on the job training to new employees in accordance with established procedures and practices.
    • Lead the team in assessing its strengths and weaknesses and provide leadership to the team in exploring alternatives and determining improvements
    • Articulate and communicate to the team the assignment, problem to be solved, actionable events, milestones, suspenses and time frames for completion

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree and 20 years of total experience.
    • Experience supervising teams in excess of 50 individuals.
    • An active Secret security clearance.
    • Experience supporting an Army acquisition program office and working with Contracting Officer Representatives (COR).
    • Demonstrated proficiency in the Defense Acquisition System.
