About the Role As a Warehouse Manager, you will oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, supervising staff, warehouse cleanliness and securing the warehouse.
You will be responsible for the logistics aspects of deployment, ensuring all the components and assemblies are packed and shipped in a timely manner to support customer installation.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Manage a small warehouse team. Create procedures for loading and unloading material from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and production areas. Ensure all incoming delivery matches the company purchase order. Store cargo in assigned locations using cargo boards and pallets. Manage inventory by identifying, cataloging, and recording the location of inventory. Track supply levels and regularly submit purchasing recommendations. Comply with all safety and health regulations. Open and close docks during work hours. Track and document exact shipment arrival and departure times. Kit and prepare orders for assemblies and shipments. Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items. Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Valid Forklift Certification (if expired, willing to renew) 3+ years warehouse working experience Must be physically able to perform heavy manual labor up to 40 lbs Team player and a can-do attitude Exceptional organizational, verbal, written and time-management skills Great interpersonal and communication skills Problem solver and initiator Willingness to take on projects and tasks outside daily responsibilities Ability to work and adapt in a rapidly changing environment that requires you to take on more responsibilities Experience with inventory management and ERP systems (Oracle - NetSuite a plus)
