    Job Summary:
    Wolverine is looking for a Lead Motor Vehicle Mechanic/Technical Inspector to work in Fort Cavazos, TX.

    Responsibilities


    Job Responsibilities:
    Diagnosing the source of trouble and determining the extent of repairs required.

    Replacing worn or broken parts such as piston rings, bearings, or other engine parts.

    Grinding and adjusting valves.

    Rebuilding carburetors.

    Overhauling transmissions

    Repairing fuel injection, lighting, and ignition systems.


    In general, the work of the Motor Vehicle Mechanic requires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent.

    Identification as LEAD, adds administrative duties to the standard labor category.


    Administrative duties include personnel accountability, timekeeping, drafting and submitting reports, creating a safety culture, and enforcing company/contract requirements and standards.

    Identification as a Technical Inspector adds administrative and quality assurance duties to the standard labor category.

    Administrative duties include aiding Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Manager, and/or Quality Manager to ensure services provided are to standard.

    This is accomplished through inspection of work in progress, work performed, and records.

    This position involves working both indoors and outdoors. Work environment includes periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.

    Hourly Compensation:
    $23.67

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    5+ years tactical or commercial equipment maintenance experience.

    Knowledgeable in U.S. Army maintenance procedures and AR

    Good verbal and written communication skills.

    Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.

    High School Diploma.

    Ability to receive a favorable Tier-1 investigation result and obtain a CAC.


    Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 60 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching.


    Desired Skills & Experience:
    ASE Certification.

    CDL Preferred.

    S. Army 91 series MOS qualification or civilian equivalent.

    Valid Driver's License.
