    Business:
    This position will be with our Identification Technologies (IDT) business area within HID Global. Our technologies are powering trusted identities for IoT applications through smart components and enabling services. You will report to the Industrial Segment Director, IoT Services business unit.

    As a sales manager you will develop and grow new business and channel partners for our IoT embedded solutions, for the industrial segment.

    You will be a part of a fast growing, small entrepreneurial business area with high impact.

    As our Regional Sales Manager, you'll support HID's success by:

    • Developing and executing a business plan to grow the region through establishing relationships, developing new relationships, and working with our channel partners.
    • Creating strategic relationships with customers and prospects at different levels within the organization, understanding their specific pain points and requirements, while also identifying any organizational roadblocks.
    • Developing and executing a comprehensive business plan.
    • Accurately forecasting sales pipeline and closing business against defined quota.
    • Supporting marketing efforts and speaking engagements at trade shows and industry events.
    • Maintaining an updated and accurate forecast in CRM )

    What we will love about your background:

    • Experience selling RTLS solutions is preferred.
    • Excellent communication and technical skills to develop relationships with executive, operational and IT staff throughout organizations.
    • Strategic mindset with a successful track record of developing account strategies and meeting targets.
    • Experience in industrial and manufacturing sales and enabling channel partners.
    • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills specific to field sales presentations and software demonstrations.

    Your Experience and Education include:

    • Bachelor's degree highly preferred, engineering major preferred.
    • Candidates with an equivalent education plus relevant work experience may also be considered.
    • A minimum of 7 years of experience in market-based sales role which achieved or exceeded business growth targets is highly preferred.
    • Selling complex product lines that require advanced knowledge and/or advanced customer relationship skills desired.
    • Strong CRM and MS office application knowledge, advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Travel required, approximately 40% (some international).

    The wage range for this role considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to:
    skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

    The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geogr phic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

    At HID, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
