Description

Radiology Clerk / Scheduler

Summary:

Schedule and pre-cert patients as needed.
Transport patients via wheelchair, stretcher, or bed from the patient location in a room, ODS, ODM, ER or other areas of the hospital to the different Imaging areas.
Answer the phone and relay messages.
Assist the Imaging staff as needed.
Order exams for Outpatient procedures.
Communicate with physicians and physician offices about exam orders and imaging reports.
Complete various computer reports as needed.

Qualifications

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent required, Associates degree preferred.
Basic computer skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Previous history of working in a hospital environment with patients required.
Flexible hours and short notice availability.
