    Beemac Logisticsis seeking a talented and organized Accounting Manager to oversee a diverse range of financial and operational functions.

    In this critical role, you will be responsible for the accuracy and efficiency of our accounting practices, ensuring a smooth employee onboarding and payroll process, and managing the company's insurance portfolio.


    Responsibilities:

    Accounting:
    Manage all aspects of staff accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.
    Oversee the work of accounting staff (if applicable).
    Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting best practices.
    Close the books monthly and prepare accurate financial statements.
    Work with external auditors during annual audits.


    Human Resources:
    Manage the entire employee onboarding process, from new hire paperwork to benefits enrollment.
    Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with all tax regulations.
    Maintain employee personnel files.
    Assist with employee relations matters as needed.


    Insurance:
    Responsible for oversight of all current insurance policies.
    Work directly with management team on renewal plan.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar accounting and HR management role.
    Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (GAAP).
    Proven experience with payroll processing and tax regulations.
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
    Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and HR software (e.g., Paylocity).
