    Job Title: Digital Signal Process Engineer

    SRT Group ) is a provider of best-in-class communications technologies for mission-critical government applications. We're hiring a Digital Signal Process Engineer III to join our team. This position will design complex digital signal processing systems.

    What you'll be doing:
    • Designs complex Digital Signal Processing systems.
    • Prepares complete project design documentation.
    • Designs and conducts experiments and analyzes and interprets data.
    • Assigns tasks to and directs engineers, technicians, and administrative staff.
    • Plans and coordinates detailed aspects of the engineering work.
    • Prepares scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
    • Assists with proposals to obtain funding for engineering projects or programs.
    • Possibility of 0% - 25% of travel
    What you'll need to succeed:
    • Bachelor's or Masters of Science Degree (BSEE/MSEE) from four-year college or university or equivalent.
    • 8+ years of experience
    • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in Advanced Digital Signal Processing Algorithms.
    • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in Communications theory.
    • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in programming languages, preferably C or C++.
    • Must be able to obtain and hold a security clearance.

    • Is a subject-matter Expert on multiple systems.
    • Has detailed understanding of how multiple systems interact.
    • Develops innovative solutions to unique problems.
    • Professional abilities & technical accomplishments are recognized throughout the lab and within the professional community in the area of expertise.

    7. Digital Signal Processing Architecture
    8. Modem Design (SATCOM, wireless, Cellular & SDR)
    9. Physical Layers e.g. GSM, Wi-Max, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth
    10. DSP Algorithms using Matlab/Simulink
    11. Object Oriented Design
    12. Real Time Debugging
    13. Signal Impairments Testing, BER Testing.
    14. Design Documentation
    15. Performance Verification and Validation
    16. Software/Hardware implementation collaboration
    17. System Requirements Analysis
    18. Rate conversion, Correlation and Filtering
    19. TFS, GIT Revision Control Tools
