    Job Summary

    This position requires the level of knowledge and skills necessary to diagnose and repair commercial vehicles
    and equipment. This individual must have the ability to effectively work and communicate with employees.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Performing vehicle maintenance to standard.
    • Perform minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers.
    • Conduct regular preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspection, tire rotation and oil changes.
    • Clean and maintain shop area and equipment.
    • Moving vehicles safely between areas.
    • Collaborate with repair team to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements and Qualifications

    • Clean driving record with a valid driver's license.
    • Must own your own tools, required for the trade.
    • Possesses the physical strength necessary to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Must be able to climb stairs frequently.
    • Ability to withstand physical requirements of the position.
    • Works well with a team.
    • Communicates clearly and effectively.
    • Operate equipment used in the repair or servicing of vehicles and equipment.
    • Works in an outdoor garage facility, unheated approx. 8-10 hours per day.
    • Must be able to work from foot and from standing for extended periods of time.
    • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
    • High school diploma or GED is required.
    • ASE Certifications preferred, but not required.
