Profile Job descriptionParks Transportation, Inc., operators of the shuttle system at Zion National Park, is seeking a mechanic.
This full-time, seasonal position will run from February through November. We offer ongoing training, free uniforms (including cleaning), paid holidays and a wage of $25.07 per hour.

Successful candidates will possess a high school diploma (or GED) and some vocational education or experience as a professional mechanic.

Propane engine training is provided, as is training to pass the driving portion of the CDL exam.

Applicants must also meet the requirements listed below:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to work weekdays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Morning shift starts as early as 5:00 AM.

The evening shift runs as late as 10:30 PMMust be able to work in 100+ degree heat throughout the summer.

Must qualify for a State of Utah Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a passenger endorsement. Written test must be completed before beginning work/training.

Must be able to pass the medical examination required for a CDL license:
Must pass a pre-employment drug test and random drug/alcohol tests throughout the season

Experience:
Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)
