    Description

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to drive the development and enhancement of production machinery designs and solutions for various production challenges. This role involves collaborating with teams to design efficient manufacturing layouts and implement process improvements, ensuring quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness in manufacturing systems.

    Essential Functions:

    • Design cost-effective manufacturing layouts and ergonomic solutions for tools and machines.
    • Evaluate and recommend repairs or replacements for production equipment and tooling.
    • Develop new processes, methods, and controls to optimize production efficiency.
    • Install and commission new equipment, providing training to operators.
    • Design control systems and monitor production performance.
    • Stay updated on emerging manufacturing technologies to implement improvements.
    • Identify deviations from manufacturing standards and propose effective solutions.
    • Develop and maintain management information systems for planning and control.
    • Implement methods to reduce production costs and enhance competitiveness.

    Competencies:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD software.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and make effective decisions.
    • Good organizational and time management skills.
    • Six Sigma or Lean Green Belt certification is a plus.

    Education And Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
    • Minimum three years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
