    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Estimate worker hours and create schedules to meet production needs.
    • Compute required stock and supplies based on production schedules.
    • Assign duties and interpret job orders to employees.
    • Plan material flow and develop assembly/machine layouts.
    • Set up and operate equipment to support department objectives.
    • Coordinate with other departments to determine resource needs and scheduling.
    • Conduct tests to ensure accurate results.
    • Prepare and communicate reports and charts to relevant departments.
    • Train Technicians, Leads, and Operators on **workplace safety**, procedures, equipment operation, and record keeping.
    • Lead continual improvement initiatives in Operations.
    • Investigate manufacturing problems and discuss solutions with Engineering Manager or Supervisor.
    • Troubleshoot manufacturing processes to identify or prevent problems.
    • Evaluate proposed process changes for quality and productivity impact.
    • Compile statistical data to identify trends and improve processes or reduce costs.
    • Adjust out-of-spec batches to meet specifications.
    • Assist in training manufacturing personnel for proficiency.
    • Monitor laboratory analysis results for accuracy and process impact.
    • Maintain the highest ethical standards.

    Qualifications:

    • Ability to **interpret and apply** safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
    • Proficient in **drafting** routine reports and correspondence.
    • Effective speaker before groups of customers or employees.
    • Proficient in **Microsoft** Word, Excel, Data Analysis, and Outlook.
    • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control and data analysis.
    • Skilled in reading and generating charts and graphs (Pareto, bar, control, flow, fishbone, Cause and Effect, etc.).
