This role involves working 3 night shifts of 12 hours each, from 7pm to 7:30am. You will have the flexibility to use our self-scheduling tool for shift and weekend coverage. POSITION SUMMARY
This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for patients as per organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The role demands accountability for the quality of nursing services provided by oneself or supervised staff. It requires specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to assess data, plan, provide, and evaluate patient care tailored to the physical and developmental needs of assigned patients.
CORE FUNCTIONS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must hold a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, along with BLS certification. Additional certification or ongoing education may be necessary depending on the area of practice.
Relate the necessary experience, training, and education during the interview process. Ideally, applicants should possess experience in the relevant clinical area. Clinical performance competencies relevant to the work area must be maintained through annual validations. For Banner Registry and Travel acute care roles, a minimum of one year of acute care hospital experience within the past year as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area is required. For Banner Registry and Travel physician practice roles, a minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a physician practice or acute care setting is needed.
In a Home Health setting, team members must be capable of driving a personal vehicle and hold a valid driver's license, along with active auto insurance coverage.
Employees at specific Banner facilities must possess and maintain the respective state's Fingerprint Clearance Card as per the organizational requirements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's degree is desirable, as well as professional certification. Additional related education and/or experience is a plus.
