    Description

    Position Description:


    To be responsible for accounting/financial reporting, corporate finance, and financial management information systems functions for the University of Alabama Health Services Foundation (UAHSF).

    To provide executive leadership and the management of financial resources to ensure achievement of business plans and objectives, and to preserve the assets and financial standing of the UAHSF.

    Qualifications

    Position Requirements:
    Minimum Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field and ten (10) years experience with healthcare financial management, five (5) years of which must be in a senior level in a university or teaching hospital/physician practice plan environment required.

    Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration or related field preferred. Work experience may NOT substituted for education requirement.

    Licenses / Certifications / Registrations
    Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Manager (CFM) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation required.
