Position Description:


The Director of Enrollment Management develops and implements an admissions program that effectively models The Chestnut Hill School's mission, values and culture for all prospective students and families.

A member of the senior administrative team, the Director of Enrollment Management works closely with the Head of School and the Director of Communications and Marketing to create and implement a comprehensive enrollment strategy.


Qualifications:


  • A Bachelor's Degree at a minimum; a Master's Degree in education, communication, marketing or a related field preferred
  • Three to five years of leadership and supervisory experience, preferably in an admissions role, that reflects a track record of cultivating positive relationships with various stakeholders
  • Experience working with Ravenna and similar enrollment management systems
  • Experience working in diverse and culturally responsive early childhood programs, elementary schools or with organizations that serve children and their families
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, passionately, clearly and concisely. Superior writing and oral communication skills
  • An approachable demeanor, a person who welcomes conversation and connection while respecting the views of others
  • Expertise in the ethical, legal, and confidentiality considerations related to admissions practices

Responsibilities:


  • Lead all aspects of the admissions process, including recruitment and enrollment, reenrollment and retention, financial aid processes, and information/database management
  • Develop systems to chart the effectiveness of enrollment management strategies and promote economic, geographic, racial, and ethnic diversity within our student body
  • Develop and share reports with constituencies (Head of School, staff, Board) that reflect an understanding of admissions, marketing, and strategy
  • Maintain and develop systems to solicit feedback about the strengths of the admission process for prospective families
  • Promote positive relationships with outside institutions or groups to attract missionappropriate students and help them understand CHS's position in the marketplace
  • Plan all admissionrelated events and coordinate with all staff, administrators, trustees, and family volunteers regarding the admission office and other schoolwide activities
  • Oversee financial aid review process and committee and serve as a resource for families regarding financial aid
  • Evaluate trends regarding enrollment and affordability
Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time, twelve-month position that reports directly to the Head of School. The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience.
