    Job Description

At Veo, we are transforming cities and transportation by building next generation micro-mobility systems that are multimodal, fully electric, and tailored to the unique needs of the cities and universities we serve. Our fleets are constantly evolving and feature a range of vehicles - from pedal and electric bicycles, to standing and seated e-scooters, e-cargo bikes, and ADA accessible devices. The Partnership and Policy Specialist (PPS) will report to Veo's Director of Government Partnerships. In this role you will provide operational, research, reporting, and logistical support to the Partnerships team. As capacity allows, you will also develop, launch, and manage micromobility markets and partnerships with a focus in small to mid-sized cities. You will work cross-functionally to ensure that Veo's teams are aligned to continue our rapid growth and promote smart local operations. Externally, you will manage a portfolio of partner relationships with small to mid-sized cities and universities, to ensure Veo is positioned to expand its services over time.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Develop, drive, and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including local government officials, community organizations, businesses, local police, and regulatory agencies in portfolio markets
    • Support partnerships team's data analysis and reporting requirements, own event and demo planning, and other special projects
    • Identify and execute strategies to achieve Veo public policy and public affairs priorities in select markets
    • Advise the Operations team to ensure compliance with local regulations and rules
    • Ensure local event and engagement requirements are fulfilled in select markets
    • Contribute strategic insights and local knowledge to the Market Entry team for market retention, renewal, and growth
    • Support new market opportunities and expansion efforts within assigned region

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • 1-3 years of experience in public-private partnerships, urban/transportation planning, politics, urban development, or relevant areas of law and policy.
    • Demonstrated experience in building and nurturing community partnerships.
    • Ability to manage internal stakeholders and balance competing interests effectively.
    • Demonstrated familiarity with city agencies, local government processes, and community engagement strongly preferred.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and adaptable approach.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively conveying information to diverse audiences.
    • Independent self-starter with excellent collaboration skills.

    Benefits:

    • Medical, dental, vision coverage.
    • 401(k) plan.
    • Unlimited paid time off (PTO).
    • Opportunity to work in a fast-paced, early-stage technology company.
    • Veo ride credits.
    • Commitment to professional development.

Join Veo's mission and be a vital part of our team, driving sustainable mobility solutions in markets across the East Coast.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $70,000 - $85,000 + Annual Performance Bonus + Full Range of Benefits. Veo is a total compensation company, and pay is determined by geographic cost of labor and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training - so not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Our total compensation package for this role, including bonus potential, ranges from $73,000 to $93,000 per year.

Note: Veo benefit, bonus and stock programs may be subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program. The listed range is a good faith estimate, and exact compensation and total package may vary depending on market conditions and performance.
