    Description


    The Finance Data & Analytics Center of Excellence (CoE) is a specialized team within the corporate finance department dedicated to leveraging data and analytics in Finance to drive strategic decision-making and enhance financial performance.

    As Finance Data & Analytics US Lead, you will be responsible for leading the Finance Data & Analytics initiatives on commercial and corporate scope for US and driving data-driven decision-making processes.

    You will oversee a team of specialists and collaborate with cross-functional teams in the development and execution of Budget, Planning, forecasting and reporting initiatives through corporate BI (such as OPERA) and EPM (such as B-LINK) solutions.

    You will play a critical role in leveraging data and advanced analytics techniques to support Finance in his daily jobs.

    Responsibilities

    :

    Data Analytics Strategy and Governance:


    Contribute to develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy relative to Commercial and Corporate scope to ensure accurate, dependable, and accessible financial data for analytics purposes.

    Collect the new requirements relative to BI & EPM solution and manage a governance frameworks and procedures with stakeholders.
    Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data infrastructure, data storage, and data integration processes.
    Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in finance data analytics to drive continuous improvement and innovations.

    Budget, Planning & Forecasting:

    Collect business needs and improvements relative to Budget, Planning and Forecasting process and interpret into solutions.
    Lead and monitor the development and maintenance of new Budget, planning & forecasting models to support strategic decision-making.
    Contribute to the budget book under the accountability of FP&A department.
    Set up a release plan and synchronize with business needs or Budget calendar.

    Financial Reporting and dashboarding (Data Visualization):

    Oversee the preparation and delivery of new KPIs, Dashboards, and reporting.
    Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and design relevant financial metrics and visualizations.

    Develop and enhance data visualization tools such as OPERA with Tableau and B-LINK with SAC or AFO and templates to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

    Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial reports and presentations.

    BI & EPM tools improvement and Automation:


    Identify opportunities to simplify reporting and budget process, leveraging on data and analytics features from OPERA, B-Link but also IPOP and COFIS.

    Work closely with IT teams to enhance the tools, data quality, and reporting systems (OPERA, B-LINK, IPOP and COFIS).
    Implement best practices in the governance of finance master data relative to Product, Customer and Controlling.
    Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of financial analytics tools and recommend improvements.

    Stakeholder Collaboration:


    Collaborate with Finance (FP&A, COMOPS), Market units (Clinical / Industry), and stakeholders to understand their analytical requirements and provide actionable insights.

    Act as main PoC for Finance and IT to optimize process around OPERA and B-Link to identify new opportunities in efficiency.

    Support finance leadership team in ad hoc financial analyses, business cases, and strategic initiatives.

    Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in finance data analytics such as predictive and trend features.

    Qualifications :

    Bachelors in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
    6+ years of experience in controlling or accounting with proven experience on a leading role and position within Finance.
    Analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to interpret complex financial data.
    Proficiency in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and visualization using tools such as Excel, Analysis for Office, SAC or Tableau.
    Experience in financial modeling, forecasting, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis
    Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
    Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
    Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
