    Job Summary

    At SandTech Solutions, we are dedicated to "Enabling Success" for our clients' missions.

    We are currently seeking a qualified candidate who is proficient in job-cost accounting in the defense contracting industry, particularly with experience in Deltek CostPoint accounting software.

    The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes.

    Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business and minimum of 3 years' experience. An Associate's degree may be accepted with additional years of experience.
    Goal driven leader with ability accurately manage accounting functions and internal controls.
    Experience working in defense contracting industry.
    Working knowledge of Deltek CostPoint is preferred.
    Work independently in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on accuracy.
    Must be deadline-driven, organized, and detail-oriented.

    Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills with the ability to give and receive candid feedback in an open, results-oriented environment.

    Excellent computer skills; proficient in MS Excel.

    The Accounting Manager is responsible for the accounting operations of the company to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records ensuring that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

    Perform accurate reconciliations and maintain financial records and supporting documentation.
    Manage the monthly closing process, accounts payable, accounts receivables and administer payroll ( Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash-flow, and other relevant reports.
    Update accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls while complying with GAAP.
    Assist in budgeting and financial planning processes.
    Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
    Manage the annual financial statement audit process with external auditors to ensure timely completion.
    Provide financial analyses and other ad hoc reporting as needed.

    Reporting Structure

    The Accounting Manager will report to the CFO of SandTech Solutions. This role will collaborate closely with other members of the finance team and various departments across the organization.

    Physical Requirements

    Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

    Work Authorization

    Must be eligible to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis, without sponsorship by employer.

    Job Information Summary

    Location:
    San Antonio, Tx. - Three (3) days at the office and (2) days remote

    Job Type: 40 hours per week

    Annual Salary Range:
    $65,000 - $80,000
