    Description


    This person should be an outgoing, energetic and creative sales professional who is a clear self-starter with strong sales and relationship skills.

    This position will be involved with maximizing revenue for the new ABC Supply Stadium in downtown Beloit by selling full season ticket packages, servicing season ticket packages and selling premier group spaces, as well as group outings.

    It is absolutely required that the individual applying for this position have 2 years of experience in sports sales and/or marketing.


    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Self-starter. Ability to prospect all new leads without direction or necessity from other Beloit Sky Carp staff members.
    Maintain consistent dialogue with new and existing sales leads (minimum 75 outbound calls per day) while balancing other necessary touchpoints to drive success
    Generate new revenue through campaign execution, cold calling, networking, and referrals
    Maximize existing revenue through relationship building, renewals and upsell opportunities
    Identify and solicit new local and regional partners for season ticket packages and group hospitality spaces
    Engage in effective needs analysis to maximize packaging opportunities across entities
    Conduct out of office and ballpark appointments with prospects and customers
    Develop customized group programs using inventory controlled by the organization to generate net revenue and meet the needs of clients
    Develop and implement group incentives
    Ensure all groups are serviced
    Other related duties as required
    Requirements


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Minimum of 2 years of experience in sports sales and/or marketing.
    Proven track record of success
    Excellent, proven cold calling skills
    High level of integrity
    Strong negotiating skills
    Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize goals
    Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
    Technically proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Access)
    Strong skills in PowerPoint
    Photoshop is a plus
    Strong analytical skills
    Strong teamwork skills as well as the ability to work independently and self-motivate
    Strong time management and organizational skills
    Strong presentation skills
    Being able to think outside the box
    Ability to attend company events
    Ability to work in fast paced environment
    Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.


    EDUCATION:
    High school diploma or GED required, bachelor's degree preferred.

    EXPECTED WORK HOURS:
    This is a full-time position. Days and hours will vary to include evening and weekend work according to business needs.
