The Human Pancreas Analysis Program ) and Faryabi Lab ) are seeking frontend web developers to participate in ongoing research on the multi-omics studies of diabetes and other pancreatic disorders.
Successful candidates are responsible for:
collaborating with backend developers to design, implement, and maintain a user-friendly web frontend for data management, integration, and analysis programs. The current site is
contributing to development, testing, and maintenance of solutions for dissemination of several genomics and imaging data modalities
participating in the technical design and implementation of a large-scale, cloud-base 'data commons' for diabetes research, including data ingestion, harmonization, and storage, as well as a user-facing portal for data querying and analysis with various interactive and batch-based tools.
Successful candidates will also have the option to participate in subsequent data analysis, integration, and interpretation. The projects are mainly funded by the Human Pancreas Analysis Program, which are multi-million-dollar grants funded by the National Institutes of Health and aim to advance our understanding of root causes of diabetes.
