    Job Description Qualifications:

    Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Multi-Family Manager (Level K) to join our dynamic team in Tukwila, WA to lead the BDS Supply Chain Team supporting the P-8 Program.

    The candidate's ability to partner with programs and successfully work across functions to achieve the needs of the business is critical to this position.

    In addition, the ability to work across all Boeing business units to ensure consistency is critical to support Boeing long term strategic goals.

    In this position, you will manage a team of procurement analysts, supply base managers and supplier program managers, who manage a variety of suppliers and commodities for the P-8 Program.

    Track standard metrics/KPIs for supply chain. Review purchase contracts and drive procurement plans to support production or mod efforts. Develop supplier strategies for negotiations. Train new employees. Distribute workload throughout team to keep level loaded work. Manage delivery and quality performance of high volume and key suppliers. Problem solving for mitigating late part deliveries. Shortage tracking and working with cross-functional teams to determine recovery plans for shortages.


    Position Responsibilities:


    Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.

    Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes and supplier diversity.

    Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.

    Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
    Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
    Provides oversight regarding negotiation strategies, processes and related tools.
    Manages, develops and motivates employees.
    This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

    The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options, in addition to traveling to suppliers as needed.

    Export Control Requirements:
    This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
    More than 3 years of experience leading a team or program.
    Experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    Bachelor's Degree or higher preferredMore than 1 years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations).More than 3 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance.

    More than 3 years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams.
