    We are looking for a Program Manager who will be responsible for the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of complex programs within F5 SDC. The Program Manager will work across the enterprise and within the product organization to ensure that the programs are delivered on time, within budget and to the required level of quality. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, sponsors, and partners. They will also support ongoing business operations as needs arise.

    The ideal candidate will have experience in project and program management, with a proven track record in delivery. They will be a strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to come up with creative solutions to problems. The Program Manager will also understand the innerworkings of SaaS and subscription performance and business models in order to support the dynamic and complex F5 Security & Distributed Cloud business.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Serve as the primary point of contact and lead for all assigned programs
    • Define, document, and manage program objectives, metrics, roadmap, risks, issues, dependencies, and changes
    • Develop and track detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones using appropriate tools, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
    • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, sponsors, and team members, providing day-to-day contact on project status and updates
    • Develop effective communications and documentation to report status, risks, and issues to a variety of audiences from engineer to executive
    • Monitor performance of programs and business operations using KPIs, metrics, and other quantitative and qualitative measurements
    • Support creation of materials for various management reviews and meetings
    Other Responsibilities
    • Perform business and financial analysis supporting key operational functions such as annual planning and quarterly performance reviews as necessary
    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives from initiation to completion for SaaS and/or software organization
    • Well-versed in performance metrics and KPIs used in a SaaS and/or subscription business model
    • Proven track record of successful project delivery, including measurement
    • Understanding of program management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adjust priorities as needed
    • Ability to lead through influence to drive forward both the team and program
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
    • Strategic mindset with the ability to execute tactically
    Qualifications
    • 4+ years experience in program and/or project management with increasing levels of responsibility
    • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, information technology, related field or equivalent experience

    The annual U.S. base pay range for this position is: $131, $197,759.00

    F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5's differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
