Position Overview:

This role is perfect for a budding accounting professional who wants to jump in stride with a team and ensure financial records are in tip-top shape. From following IRS regulations and USGAAP standards to balancing the general ledger and reconciling bank statements, this role covers it all.

This opportunity involves not just maintaining financial procedures, but also ensuring financial compliance by meticulously preparing company reports and financial statements.

Essential Duties:

Sets up and maintains general ledger/month-end closing/financial statements.
Prepares various journal entries in line with USGAAP.
Analyzes general ledger accounts and reconciles balances.
Maintains construction in progress records.
Conducts financial statement reviews for accuracy and legality.
Handles bank reconciliations and excise tax returns.
Maintains fixed asset schedules and assists in audits.
Participates in special projects.

Other Duties:

Performs tasks as assigned.
Promotes safety policies.
Demonstrates respect and customer service in the workplace.

Working Conditions:

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm; occasional overtime.

Require excellent interpersonal skills and contacts with various stakeholders.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

Skills/Knowledge: Strong mathematical skills.
Licenses: Valid driver's license and clean traffic record.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field, CPA or master's degree preferred.
Experience: 0-5 years of relevant experience. Experience in public accounting, construction, or cost accounting is a plus.
Other: Proficiency in Word, Excel, & Email; ability to learn new systems quickly; efficient keyboarding skills.
