- Establish and nurture productive relationships with key decision-makers within target projects, including but not limited to heads of foundations, CTOs, heads of BD, and grant program leads.
- Conduct thorough customer research to tailor value propositions for various target segments, ensuring product-market fit and identifying deal opportunities.
- Translate customer pain points and gleaned business insights into persuasive grant and business proposals.
- Formulate effective pricing strategies for target customers and lead pricing discussions.
- Oversee the contract drafting, review, and signing process in collaboration with Finance and Legal teams.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to strategize and execute initiatives aimed at boosting outbound lead generation and elevating brand influence within our target ecosystems. This entails leveraging various methods such as community calls, blog contributions, and event sponsorships.
- Serve as the primary advocate for our offering and brand across all customer interactions, including Discord Q&A sessions, product demonstrations, speeches at events, and networking within communities.
- Maintain productivity while working across different time zones, spanning from the U.S. to Asia, on a daily basis.
- Stay current with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and threats in the blockchain space.
- Participate actively and meaningfully in major regional and global industry conferences.
- 2+ years of sales/business development experience in a blockchain project.
- Substantial experience in roles such as L1/L2 foundations, Developer Relations (DevRel), business development (BD), or B2B sales.
- Proven ability to negotiate complex deals with a variety of senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in securing grants and closing commercial deals.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable content for non-technical audiences and effectively communicate it to diverse audiences.
- Previous experience working within a crypto startup.
- Prefered proficiency in a second language, preferably Mandarin, Korean, or Spanish.
