    Description

    Berkeley College is currently seeking highly qualified and motivated part-time instructors to teach in the Justice and Legal Studies Departments and to support our vision of becoming the college of choice for students pursuing lifelong success in dynamic careers and employers seeking graduates prepared to meet the demands of the global marketplace.

    These positions are for the Berkeley College New York location. Berkeley College has an enriched and diverse student population across our New Jersey and New York locations.


    The New York location is seeking applicants to fill a part-time faculty position in the Justice and Legal Studies Department.


    Courses include:

    • Introduction to Law
    • Constitutional Law
    • Civil Litigation
    The current openings are for onsite teaching at the New York City campus in the April Semester of 2024.

    Classes begin on April 1, 2024, and end date June 21, 2024.


    Position Requirements:

    • A Juris Doctorate, Master's degree in Justice Studies, or other related degree and other appropriate credentials, if applicable.
    • Demonstrated success in teaching at an institution of higher education.
    • A willingness to travel and teach at multiple campuses across NY and NJ, if applicable.
    • Ability to teach classes during the day.
    • Experience using technology and interactive electronic materials to support teaching and learning.
    • Experience using a Learning Management System such as Canvas.
    The salary range is $3, $3,600.00 per course/semester.
