    Job Summary


    B&A is looking for a Project Lead to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission.

    As a Project Lead, your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders, managing project timelines, ensuring the system meets user requirements, and overseeing the training and support for users.

    Responsibilities


    • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of the application.
    • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure adherence to deadlines and budgetary constraints.
    • Coordinate activities among cross-functional teams, including helpdesk, trainers, business analysts, designers, and stakeholders.
    • Ensure the system meets user requirements, including functionality, usability, and security standards.
    • Oversee testing and quality assurance processes to identify and address any issues or bugs.
    • Liaise with key stakeholders, including faculty members, administrators, and students, to gather requirements and feedback for the system.
    • Communicate project updates, progress, and milestones to stakeholders regularly.
    • Address stakeholder concerns and ensure their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Oversee the development of training materials and resources for users of the online clerkship application system.
    • Oversee and ensure successful execution of training sessions.
    • Manage helpdesk team that provides ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to users, addressing any technical issues or questions that arise.
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of project plans, requirements, and system functionalities.
    • Generate regular reports on project progress, including milestones achieved, challenges encountered, and resolutions implemented.
    • Identify opportunities for system improvement and optimization based on user feedback and performance metrics.
    • Ensure all work products and deliverables meet quality expectations and are delivered on time.
    Education and Experience


    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. 7 years of relevant work experience.
    Required Skills


    • Proven experience managing software development projects, preferably in an academic or government setting.
    • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
    • Proficiency in system analysis, design, and implementation.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
    Security Clearance


    • Eligibility to obtain a government security clearance.
