Job Summary

B&A is looking for a Project Lead to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission.

As a Project Lead, your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders, managing project timelines, ensuring the system meets user requirements, and overseeing the training and support for users.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of the application.
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure adherence to deadlines and budgetary constraints.
Coordinate activities among cross-functional teams, including helpdesk, trainers, business analysts, designers, and stakeholders.
Ensure the system meets user requirements, including functionality, usability, and security standards.
Oversee testing and quality assurance processes to identify and address any issues or bugs.
Liaise with key stakeholders, including faculty members, administrators, and students, to gather requirements and feedback for the system.
Communicate project updates, progress, and milestones to stakeholders regularly.
Address stakeholder concerns and ensure their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Oversee the development of training materials and resources for users of the online clerkship application system.
Oversee and ensure successful execution of training sessions.
Manage helpdesk team that provides ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to users, addressing any technical issues or questions that arise.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of project plans, requirements, and system functionalities.
Generate regular reports on project progress, including milestones achieved, challenges encountered, and resolutions implemented.
Identify opportunities for system improvement and optimization based on user feedback and performance metrics.
Ensure all work products and deliverables meet quality expectations and are delivered on time.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. 7 years of relevant work experience.

Required Skills

Proven experience managing software development projects, preferably in an academic or government setting.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Proficiency in system analysis, design, and implementation.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Security Clearance

Eligibility to obtain a government security clearance.
