    Salary:
    $45,250 - $47,750 per year (depending on experience)

    Job Description:

    A leading legal organization serving the Jacksonville area, is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on a temporary to hire basis.

    This position will be based out of our downtown Jacksonville office and offers the opportunity for remote work in a hybrid environment.


    Responsibilities:
    Coordinate day-to-day administrative functions for the President and CEO.
    Assist in managing case activities from assignment to conclusion.
    Conduct legal research on statutes, orders, and case law.
    Support political and fundraising outreach efforts, including government funding initiatives.
    Analyze case documentation and prepare legal documents such as motions and discovery requests.
    Record and monitor case activities to ensure compliance with legal deadlines.
    Interview witnesses and clients to gather case information.
    Assist with trial preparation and organization of evidence.
    Maintain relationships with paralegal programs and assist with staff communications


    Requirements:
    Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a paralegal in civil litigation practice.
    Associate degree in paralegal studies or equivalent certification.
    Preferred experience in fundraising or lobbying efforts at the local or statewide level.
    Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Google applications
