- Support Hyundai/Kia/Genesis to achieve top quality brand in North America
- Experience with customers' driving habits, likes and dislikes, via quality investigation & vehicle evaluation
- Ability to work with internal and external systems to have an accurate understanding of 'Perceived and Emotional Quality' in North America.
- Lead quality and investigation audits to identify and resolve quality issues
- Study warranty analysis of current models to provide continuous engineering support, identify problems, conduct root analysis (hands-on), and present summary of findings with clear and accurate reports
- Review, verify, validate, and track countermeasure effectiveness
- Lead in achieving department KPI with close working relationship with affiliates
- Thorough understanding of internal combustion engine theory and practice
- Experience investigating complex technical issues knowledge of vehicle testing related to powertrain components (including electrification)
- Experience with Electric Vehicle (EV/HEV/PHEV) operation and diagnostic is a plus
- Identify major quality issues for the powertrain systems and provide Engineering analysis and research results to provide 'lessons learned'
- Conduct research using government agency website, syndicated study and social media
- Experience with EMS data acquisition (INCA is a plus), advanced data analysis and preparation of technical reports
- Experience with overall vehicle evaluation (expert in PT/PE evaluation)
- Research, procure, and maintain new technology, tools, and methods for data acquisition or analysis.
- Ability to conduct benchmark studies remotely and in person.
- Create and present technical reports as required.

- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Basic knowledge with automotive systems
- Positions require some 'Hands On' experience with modern vehicles
- Work experience in electrical vehicle systems is preferred
- Experience Microsoft Excel & Power Point
- Knowledge of current automotive technology trend (example: basic understanding of Autonomous driving)
