Description

Jaken Medical is looking for Full-Time Biomedical Technician BMET, must have a minimum of 1-year experience. Repair, service and calibration of EKG Machines, Stress Test Systems, Defibrillators, Patient Monitors, and Ultrasound Systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Maintenance:

Assist in the routine maintenance and calibration of medical equipment such as patient monitors, defibrillators, infusion pumps, and other healthcare devices.

Perform inspections and testing to identify faults, defects, or malfunctions in equipment.


Repairs and Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to determine the root cause of problems.
Assist in the repair of faulty equipment components, ensuring that they meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.


Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and service history.
Document all work performed, including parts used, repairs made, and testing results.


Collaboration:
Collaborate with senior technicians and engineers to learn advanced troubleshooting techniques and gain expertise in specialized medical equipment.
Assist in coordinating with equipment manufacturers and vendors for technical support and spare parts procurement.


Compliance and Safety:
Adhere to regulatory guidelines and standards, ensuring that all repairs and maintenance activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.

Follow established safety protocols and guidelines to guarantee the safety of both staff and patients during equipment operation and maintenance.

Training and Development:

Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical skills and stay updated on the latest advancements in biomedical technology.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in biomedical technology or related field is preferred.
• Basic understanding of electronics, mechanics, and computer systems.
• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and equipment.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and work in various healthcare settings.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in biomedical technology or a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience or internships in biomedical technology or healthcare equipment maintenance.

Pay:
$45, $65,618.00 per year
