Position Summary:
The Employee Benefits Account Manager is responsible for managing assigned book of business. This role includes customer interaction as well as support to Sales staff.
We prefer someone who could work a hybrid schedule (1 day a week) or remote if located outside of commuting range.
Duties and Responsibilities:Build and maintain client relations and manage client accountsDelegate account servicing tasks to team membersPrepare and present proposals for Small Business Unit (SBU) accountsReview new and renewal policies for accuracyResolve policy coverage, billing, membership and claims issuesAnalyze client applications and other documents for accuracyThoroughly document accounts using the agency's management systemsMentor and train fellow employees as assignedContinue growth of insurance knowledge and stay informed of changes in the insurance industryBackup other employees as assignedSpecial projects and other duties as assignedRequirements:
Skills and Specifications:
Experience with individual, small, and large groupsKnowledge of ACA guidelinesAbility to problem solve, prioritize & delegateExcellent communications skills, written and verbalFollow instructions and tasks through to completion in a timely mannerKnowledge of insurance company's guidelines and underwritingComputer proficient and knowledgeable with Microsoft Office
Educations and Qualifications:
