Facilities Service Specialist_ provides various administrative support services to our clients which may include office moves, conference room setups, and miscellaneous facilities-related tasks.


Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Performs office related duties including office moves, set up of new offices, ensuring all equipment is functional, and office is presentable
  • Sets up conference rooms, meeting special client requirements, including correct table set up, tables are clean, lighting / shading is functional, and room is presentable
  • Performs facilities related duties including picture hanging, small furniture set up, infrequent assembly of small furniture and other special needs as required
  • Technical skills with the ability to successfully utilize Microsoft Office products and job ticketing systems
  • Meets with clients when assisting in operation of the Conference Center.
  • Provides technical assistance and information as needed.
  • Coordinates with the Information Technology Department to schedule technical staff to meet customers' special needs when necessary.
  • Checks availability and schedules room utilization as appropriate to reflect set up, event and postevent cleanup.
  • Coordinates with the Senior Facilities and Office Services manager regarding facility needs and for general maintenance and booked events. The facilities service specialist role is to insure a clean, safe and well organized facility which will require them to perform routine cleanup duties from time to time.
  • Oversees all required facilities, room set up, equipment and technical support. This includes assisting staff, services, and guests to insure events run smoothly.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ work experience in a customer services field
  • Ability to multitask with attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and problemsolving skills
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift or move 50 lbs. or greater
  • Ability to grasp, lift or carry items on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 100 lbs
  • Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand or sit for an extended period of time

Scheduled Hours - 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday
  • Friday (In Office / NO Remote Work)

Pay:
$ $21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
